Strange behavior after entering a newline in a cell of the dmn decision table editor

I have string inputs that occasionally include newlines. When I tried the demo at http://demo.bpmn.io/dmn, one of the things I tested is whether I could type these newlines into the input cells.

I’m currently on a Mac and was happy to find that if I hold the ‘command’ key while pressing enter, the system created a newline within the cell. However, when I begin typing the second line, the caret jumps to the beginning of the second line after a brief moment, ruining the user experience.

Thanks for providing the dmn table editor [and demo]…hoping I can use it in my project in the future.
