Would it possible to start new topics here via E-Mail? As this would be much more convenient while working in the train with unreliable network connection…
This is not possible at the moment but can be enabled with some additional configuration. We will look into it, if time allows.

It is now possible to reply to topics via email. You may also create new topics by sending them to forum@bpmn.io.
To create posts in the developers category, send the mail to the special postbox forum-developers@bpmn.io.

Hi - firstly, apologies for creating a tangent post / bumping an old topic (it was the closest I could find), but hopefully it’ll fast become apparent why I’ve not started a new topic: I can’t. 
I’ve wanted to start a topic here but for some reason I can’t find any button to do so. Next to this reply box is a link to starting a new topic, and I clicked it and typed out a full topic and then got an error stating “An error occurred: You are not permitted to view the requested resource.”
Keen to start making use of bpmn.io in our company, but there seems to be some UX issues with this forum - or perhaps I’m just an idiot!
Please do not necrobump old topics. Instead link to this thread from new topic.
@Daniel please try creating a new topic again with a button on the top right of forum home page. If it still doesn’t work, send me a personal message.
