Is it possible to add custom-event-definitions through Moddle extension?

I would like to add a custom event definition. I have checked out the Moddle Extension example, however I havent figured it out.

Is it possible to add a custom event definition through Moddle extension? If yes, how do I do it?

Technically possible but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea. Can you describe the use case?

We would like to describe an event, which generates a specific record, which can be dynamic, is passed to the next task. We havent found a suitable description for such event, thats why we like to create a custom one.

@Johnandrew2 I think it could help if you share a link to the API you’re referring to. It is non that is provided by bpmn.io core, to my knowledge.
