Describe the Bug

When the mouse is pressed on an element, it cannot be triggered, but it can be triggered on the canvas

Expected Behavior

I want to trigger the mousedown event on the task gateway connection line and so on

It would be interesting what exactly you’d like to accomplish and why. Usually there is better ways to do whatever would be triggered through a mouse interaction on the editor, through the comprehensive APIs it offers.

However if you want to be this low level you may want to trigger the event directly on the editor (instead of on the DOM node). You can checkout our existing tests to see how we do it. Hope this helps you.
