Intermediate Cancel Event

I cannot find the Intermediate Cancel Event in the Modeler. If this has been excluded for some reason, why and how can I add one?

Cancel events are supported but note that the BPMN spec allows them only in the context of a transaction:

@barmac it could be my problem here is not fully understanding what “the context of the transaction” includes. Would you pls elaborate or point me to somewhere with further explanation?

Transaction is the type of subprocess drawn on the picture I shared. This is the only place where you can use cancel events. Read more on transactions in the BPMN specification: https://www.omg.org/spec/BPMN/2.0/PDF#page=210
