2 simples questions:

(1) How can I customize BPMN.iO to make the diagrams interactive to the user?

(2) How can I store the diagram configuration into relational database such as MS SQL?

You use the editor over the viewer to make diagrams interactive.

Editor reads and writes BPMN 2.0 diagrams. You can load that via HTTP from a backend server, served in your database.
