How to model ad-hoc sub-processes in demo modeler?

Is there a possibility to model an ad-hoc sub-process in the demo version of the modeler? If not: Is that possible in the download version of the modeler?

It is not possible at the moment but it is a simple thing to add.

At some point you will be able to change the type of an expanded sub process to transaction, event subprocess or adhoc subprocess. See this issue in our issue tracker:
