Experiences with integrating BPMN.io in SharePoint?

Hi,

does anybody have experience in integrating BPMN.io in SharePoint as lightweight process modelling tool?

  • Can e.g. taxonomy terms be used?
  • Is multi-language modelling be set up?
    etc.

Any hint, tipps, dos / donts, screenshots etc. much appreciated!

Hi @rec83,

in general, it is possible to set up a bpmn.io modeler as soon as you can define some custom html. Checkout our pre-packaged versions of bpmn.js.

Can you elaborate on your interest in taxonomy terms and multi-language modelling? What do want to achieve exactly?

  • e.g. use a lookup on a standardized “functions/departments” taxonomy terms in SharePoint e.g. for labeling pools and lanes
  • e.g. reuse, synchronising/edit/save of modeled data with SharePoint lists
  • experiences in re-importing e.g. translated xml files of translation offices

Saw this is a little old. Has anyone done with with MS365 sharepoint sites? Just getting the modeler to work, load and save bpmn files would be awesome.
