Custom Icon supported in web modeller?

I saw there is an option to define a custom icon for an template in the template json file described in this article:

Is this also supported in the bpmn-js web modeller? I made some tries but the gear icon of the service task has not changed at all, but there was a new icon before the name of the template in the list of possible templates.

Yes it is. You want to hook up element-template-icon-renderer.
