Annotations for events, gateways and tasks are working great for us. We would also like to use them with sequence flows . Is there a reason why they are not available there ? Could those be added or enabled?

We already have this tracked via I can add a text annotation to a sequence flow · Issue #402 · camunda/camunda-modeler · GitHub. As you see, there we already investigations on implementing it, as there are no reasons against it.
However, as you see in the comment, it’s not that easy to implement, as it is the first time we would connect connections with connections. A concern diagram-js is not capable of at the moment.
