Update entire diagram json?

Hi

Is there a way to update the entire diagram through json? I see we can edit the elementRegistry and manipulate the individual props. But is there a way to get and set the entire JSON tree?

Can you explain the use case? What are you trying to do?

I would like to get entire serializable tree of Json of the configuration (without the circular refs) be able to modify it and send it back into the modeler as a single object of config.
