Hello everyone,
the properties panel supports several tabs for properties. I was just wondering if it is possible to split the palette into separate tabs as well. I couldn’t find anything regarding this in the examples or the code, but I wanted to ask just so I don’t implement something myself if there is an official way.
The palette doesn’t support tabs (it supports group’s though). I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen anyone building this.
Ah, I see. Are there any examples / documentation on those groups? I only found this, which only sets a group per entry. I was looking for a way to structure the element in the palette, so headlines per group, collapsable sections, or just coloured sets of elements.
As far as I can see, there is no example on organising the palette, so I’m a bit at a loss as to what the group is actually good for.
The groups are seperated visually.
If you want a palette with tabs you have to create your own. You can use the existing palette for inspiration.
