Today I stumbled over the fact that data objects and data stores do not allow me to add comments to them. Is this intended? Furthermore, sometimes I would like to add a general comment to a process diagram which is not associated to any specific symbol… therefore it would be convenient to have a global comment in the bar on the left hand side. But I am unsure, whether the standard actually allows this… so again: intended or changeable?

do you mean text annotations? It should be allowed to attach them to data objects and data stores. I don’t see anything against this in the spec. I’m on it because it’s a quick fix
