I’m trying to assign a different default color to each of the elements of the dmn diagram.
Does anyone have an example of this?

seems like there are several examples for coloring shapes inside bpmn-js . Therefore it should be possible to also do it with elements inside dmn-js.
At the moment (March 2019), dmn-js doesn’t support colors.
