Direct editing is having issues

Hi,
When I click on Letter ‘E’ on bpmn shape, editable text box has opened and Letter ‘e’ also came by default in text box, this problem occurs in Chrome browser , In IE 11 it is working as expected ,

could you please suggest the solution.

yes , it is not reporduceable in demo.bpmn.io. may i know the verion of demo site,

in my app, im using the below version 3.5.0.

Please make sure you can reproduce the issue using our starter projects, i.e. v3.5.0.
