I just looked at the custom-elements example. If I see that correctly, then the colored tasks don’t glow orange when you drive over them at the palette. Is there any way to change that?
Per default, palette entries got this color while hovering via its CSS styles, cf. diagram-js.css. You will have to declare it inside your own CSS.

I use exactly this example and the red, green and yellow tasks in the palette do not light up.
Did you update the styles of your app as I tried to explain you in my last comment?
